Nilla

Your shipping schedule, on the calendar

Nilla turns Shopify orders into Google Calendar events, on the dates your cutoffs actually imply — so nobody has to re-key them by hand.

Merchants selling physical things work to a cutoff: in before 2pm and it goes out tomorrow, after that the day after, and something else again over a holiday. Wholesale is dated from the day the invoice clears, not the day it was ordered, and the rep wants it on their own calendar. That schedule usually lives in somebody's head, and staff copy dates into a calendar by hand.

This app closes the loop. An order arrives, an event appears on the right day, and edits and cancellations follow it.

How it works

  1. Install and connect Google. The app creates one calendar of its own to write to. It cannot see any of your other calendars.
  2. Describe your schedule once. A workflow says which orders it covers, what starts it, and how a cutoff turns into a date — before 2pm ships tomorrow, after that the day after, Fridays roll to Monday.
  3. Leave it alone. Every matching order lands on the calendar. Change the order and the event follows; cancel it and the event goes away.

What you can set up

Cutoffs that match how you actually ship

An if / else-if / else chain turns the moment an order arrives into a date. Time-of-day cutoffs, particular weekdays, and a fallback for everything else.

Different rules for different orders

Match on order tags, so wholesale, retail and pre-orders can each have their own schedule. Every workflow that matches an order runs, so one order can be a dispatch date for the warehouse and a follow-up for a sales rep at the same time.

The right people invited

Invite named staff, a team, or the rep who owns the account — matched from the order's own tags. One event per order, or one per line item when that's what the work looks like.

Approve before anything is written

Any workflow can be set to stage its events for review instead of writing them straight to the calendar. Useful while you are still tuning a rule.

About your data

The app asks Shopify only for read access to orders and products — it can never change an order. On the Google side it uses the narrowest scope available, which lets it create and manage its own calendar and nothing else: your existing calendars stay invisible to it.

Access tokens are encrypted at rest, order payloads are deleted after 30 days, and uninstalling removes the app's access to your Google account. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
